Matt Bunker

VP, Business Development

Matt Bunker joined Spectrum in 2015. He started his career as a staff member of the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary in Washington, DC in 2002. In 2005, Mr. Bunker continued to work with Congress and the Executive Branch as a lobbyist with a government affairs and sports representation firm. He also worked closely with the National Basketball Referees Association.

Following his career in Washington, DC, Mr. Bunker turned his attention to higher education, specifically building college and university alumni associations. In 2008, he became the Alumni Director for Salt Lake Community College. He took their alumni activity from 32 active members to over 30,000 active members in under four years.

Then in 2011, he started work as the Alumni Manager with the MBA program at Brigham Young University. He organized the worldwide network of BYU MBA alumni using new and traditional tools of connecting large, disparate groups of affiliated people. He is an expert in social media marketing, email marketing, and traditional marketing. Matt is a natural networker.

Mr. Bunker speaks fluent Spanish. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and Business from Brigham Young University and a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Missouri.
